‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Clement Clarke Moore
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
Or if that’s not your thing…
‘Twas the night before Hogswatch, when all through the house
david chapman (Terry pratchett discworld fandom filk)
Not a PC was stirring, not even a mouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that the Hogfather soon would be there
It’s that time of year again, whether you believe in the Christian Navity, or are just looking forward to the Holidays as a time of eating and drinking too much and relaxing while you can.
Here in Australia, it’s Summer, and the holidays are the time for beer, barbeques and backyard cricket under cloudless blue skies and sweltering sun.
It’s been a wet Spring, so we’re expecting legions of mosquitos as guests, and crossing our fingers that this year’s bushfire season will be short and mild.
I’ll be relaxing in a hammock under a tree, relacing with some local pear cider while I catch up on some reading.
If you find yourself short of books (or gifts) consider selecting an ebook from our store.
Perhaps Christmas Travesties for some short stories, or perhaps Ms Blaelock’s Book of Planning a Life Worth Living as you consider your options for 2022.
But regardless of what you do, all of is here at BlueMere Books, wish you safe and happy holidays 2021.
Happy Holidays 2021 to you all!
